Three bathrooms were renovated in this thirty-year-old modern townhouse. The master bath was expanded for an enlarged luxury shower with a custom terrazzo base. All walls were covered with a gray marble tile, and conversely, the horizontal vanity counter and shower seat are in complementary reddish marble. The vanity, with hidden bracing, floats above the floor and is surrounded with polished chrome fixtures and accessories. An upstairs hall bath was renovated with fixtures and accessories similar to the master bath, and ceramic tile was added, giving the room a brighter appearance. The entry hall powder room was also completely renovated, and includes a slate counter with hidden supports, and a glass bowl sink sitting above the counter. Two halogen light fixtures highlight the clean and minimal design. A custom dining room cabinet was designed as a fine piece of furniture, "floating" off the wall. This was accomplished with two hidden steel brackets supporting the monolithic cleft slate top and high gloss, automobile paint red sideboard.
