The former CTA Station and National Historic Landmark was renovated into a small banking facility which returned the dilapidated structure to a functioning building in the community. The exterior wood trim and stucco was restored, to the complete original details of the building. The windows and doors match all historic sizes and details of the building and meet current energy requirements.The building was painted with historically accurate prairie-style colors. A glass and wood porch was added within the existing porch to accommodate an ATM and Night Depository vestibule. The interior features the same wood trim details that are existing at walls, doors and windows, and houses a walk-up teller window, personal banker and teller work areas. This renovation restored this decaying structure to a vibrant historic building in the community.
