The building inspired by tradition and a prominent local landmark, Barrington United Methodist Church, uses traditional wood clapboard siding, carefully detailed pilasters and cornice. It is topped with a lighted cupola. As the building is situated on the northwest corner of the site, a green space is created between the building and the parking area. This green space acts as a transition from the parking area into the inviting building. The traditional detailing continues into the interior of the building, focusing on a two-story lobby with cupola above. This community owned bank with its sensitive character and public meeting rooms has become an invaluable asset to the Village of Barrington.
